
Nissan Motor Corp. Appoints Victor Taylor as Division Vice President!
Nissan Motor Corp. has announced the appointment of Victor Taylor as Division Vice President, U.S. Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, and Production Engineering, effective December 2025. In this role, Taylor will oversee Nissan’s three U.S. manufacturing facilities located in Canton, Mississippi; Smyrna, Tennessee; and Decherd, Tennessee, in addition to leading U.S. supply chain management and production engineering operations.
Prior to this appointment, Taylor served as Vice President, Manufacturing at the Nissan Canton Vehicle Assembly Plant, where he played a key role in driving operational excellence and manufacturing performance. He brings more than 20 years of engineering and manufacturing experience, positioning him to lead Nissan’s U.S. manufacturing network through its next phase of efficiency, quality, and competitiveness.
Taylor holds an Executive MBA from Millsaps College, an MBA from California State University, Stanislaus, and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Alcorn State University. He has also completed additional business coursework at Vanderbilt University and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
With this appointment, Nissan reinforces its focus on strengthening manufacturing leadership, optimizing supply chains, and advancing production engineering capabilities across its U.S. operations.
