The Nemetschek Group, a global leader in digital solutions for the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations (AEC/O) industry, has joined forces with CADD Centre Group, India’s leading design and engineering training organization, to revolutionize Building Information Modeling (BIM) education and adoption across India. This landmark partnership marks a major step toward building a future-ready workforce equipped with cutting-edge BIM skills essential for the nation’s rapidly evolving construction and infrastructure sectors.
The agreement was formalized at CADD Centre Group’s headquarters in Chennai, in the presence of Mr. R. Parthasarathy, Chairman of CADD Centre Group; Mr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, Managing Director of Nemetschek India; Mr. Rithwick Parthasarathy, Chief Future Officer, CADD Centre Group; and Mr. Deepankar Bhattacharya, Senior General Manager, Education. The partnership establishes CADD Centre as Nemetschek’s Authorized Training and Corporate Training Partner in India, marking the beginning of a large-scale initiative to integrate world-class BIM education into professional training programs across the country.
The collaboration will commence with two flagship Nemetschek Authorized Training Centres in Chennai and Bengaluru, where professionals and students will gain hands-on experience in BIM workflows using Nemetschek’s industry-leading software solutions — Archicad, Bluebeam, and Solibri. These centers will serve as models for the next phase of expansion, with plans to establish 15 additional BIM training centers across India within the next year. The initiative will not only provide specialized training but also create a robust pipeline of skilled, “job-ready” BIM engineers to support both corporate clients and the broader construction ecosystem.
Leveraging its extensive network of over 300 training centers in India and abroad — which has already empowered more than three million professionals — CADD Centre will play a crucial role in accelerating BIM adoption. This initiative aims to strengthen India’s AEC/O value chain by improving digital project delivery, sustainability practices, and overall workflow efficiency. By combining CADD Centre’s training expertise and Nemetschek’s technological leadership, the partnership is set to drive innovation and capacity-building across the construction industry.
Commenting on the partnership, Pete Nicholson, Senior Vice President for Key Accounts and High Growth Regions at Nemetschek Group, said, “Our collaboration with CADD Centre is driven by a shared commitment to upskilling professionals with global-standard BIM capabilities. Expanding into multiple cities will help nurture a culture of excellence in project execution, sustainability, and digital collaboration through Nemetschek’s software tools.”
Sanjay Kumar Singh, Managing Director of Nemetschek India, emphasized the long-term vision of the initiative: “CADD Centre’s leadership and outreach are instrumental in realizing our mission of scaling BIM education for the next generation of engineers and architects. Together, we will empower professionals with the knowledge and practical skills to thrive in an increasingly digital and data-driven construction environment.”
Echoing this sentiment, R. Parthasarathy, Chairman of CADD Centre Group, stated, “At CADD Centre, our mission is to make India the Design and Innovation Capital of the World. Through this partnership with Nemetschek, we will deliver globally recognized BIM training that fosters creativity, efficiency, and innovation in design and construction workflows.”
The Nemetschek Group, founded in 1963 by Prof. Georg Nemetschek, has long been a pioneer in digital transformation for the AEC/O sector. With over seven million users worldwide and a presence in more than 140 countries, the company continues to lead through advanced solutions in open BIM, digital twins, and AI-driven design technologies. Its collaboration with CADD Centre reinforces its commitment to empowering professionals in high-growth regions like India, where digital infrastructure and construction innovation are central to national development.
This partnership represents a pivotal moment in India’s digital construction journey, combining Nemetschek’s global technological expertise with CADD Centre’s vast educational footprint to shape the future of BIM-driven design and project management across the country.
