MIC Electronics Ltd partners with GHS Technologies GmbH to deliver advanced material handling solutions in India!
MIC Electronics Ltd has announced a strategic partnership with GHS Technologies GmbH to jointly design, manufacture and supply advanced material handling solutions for customers in India. The collaboration represents a significant step for MIC Electronics as it expands its presence into the industrial engineering and material handling segment while leveraging international technology expertise.
The partnership has already progressed beyond the planning stage and entered technical execution through an engagement with a major industrial client. As part of the initial phase, GHS Technologies has transferred detailed engineering documentation to MIC Electronics. These include Gerber files, technical drawings and component specifications, enabling MIC’s engineering team to evaluate the manufacturing feasibility and production requirements.
Currently, MIC Electronics engineers are conducting a detailed technical assessment of the transferred designs. Additional discussions between the companies are scheduled to finalize the product configuration and prepare for the next phase of development. Once the design review is completed, the partners plan to initiate an initial sample production order. If the prototype testing meets performance expectations and receives client approval, the program will move forward toward larger commercial production.
India represents an important growth market for GHS Technologies, driven by rapid expansion across sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, infrastructure, automotive and energy. As companies modernize production facilities and invest in automated operations, the demand for efficient and high-precision material handling systems continues to increase.
Industry forecasts indicate that India’s material handling equipment market is expected to grow at more than 10 percent annually through 2030. This growth is supported by ongoing investments in manufacturing plants, warehouse automation, supply chain infrastructure and large-scale logistics networks. Globally, the material handling market is estimated to exceed USD 200 billion, highlighting the scale of opportunity for technology providers and system integrators.
For MIC Electronics, the agreement represents a strategic diversification beyond its traditional electronics manufacturing operations. The company brings strong expertise in engineering validation, electronics manufacturing and systems integration, which will support the local production and deployment of advanced handling solutions.
GHS Technologies contributes its European engineering expertise and experience in translating complex industrial requirements into practical technical designs. By combining this design capability with MIC Electronics’ manufacturing infrastructure in India, the partnership aims to deliver material handling systems that meet international engineering standards while supporting domestic supply requirements.
Rakshit Mathur, CEO of MIC Electronics Ltd, stated that the partnership strengthens the company’s capabilities in industrial engineering and opens new avenues for long-term growth. He noted that the ongoing client engagement provides a strong foundation for progressing from prototype validation to full-scale production.
Headquartered in Hyderabad, MIC Electronics is widely known for its LED display technologies used in digital billboards, video walls and passenger information systems deployed across transportation hubs such as railways and airports. Over time, the company has diversified into additional areas including LED lighting, communication systems, telecom software, signalling technologies and medical devices such as oxygen concentrators. The new partnership marks another step in expanding its engineering and manufacturing footprint into industrial automation and material handling solutions.
