Mazda Starts Exporting the CX-50 to Mexico from the United States

The CX-50 crossover, which was built in the United States, is now being exported to Mexico, according to Mazda North American Operations (MNAO). Mazda Toyota Manufacturing (MTM), located in Huntsville, Alabama, assembles the CX-50.

The $2.3 billion joint venture plant was built by Mazda and Toyota, and it will be able to assemble up to 300,000 cars while working with up to 4,000 people on staff. 2,000 more Team One* members will work for MTM supplier partners. This year’s brand-new Mazda CX-50 was put into production by MTM in January.

This year, Mazda marks 18 years of business in Mexico, which has grown to be a significant market for both Mazda Corporation and Mazda North America. Mazda de Mexico is happy to offer the Mazda CX-50 to its clients who appreciate an active, outdoor lifestyle and who want to have the best of both worlds when driving in the city and off-road.
