Mazak to Showcase Cutting-Edge Manufacturing Solutions at Upcoming Open House Events!

Mazak North America is preparing to showcase its advanced machine tool technology at two key events in 2025: the Discover More With Mazak Northeast Open House in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, and the Discover More With Mazak Southwest Open House in Houston, Texas. These events will offer attendees an exclusive opportunity to witness live cutting demonstrations and explore Mazak’s full range of CNC horizontal, vertical, and turning machines, along with Done In One Multi-Tasking and five-axis machines, all working on real-world part applications.

The Northeast Open House, taking place May 13-14, 2025, will highlight Mazak’s most innovative machining solutions, including the HCN-4000 NEO HMC paired with a two-pallet changer, designed to maximize productivity by allowing continuous machining while setting up jobs on the second pallet. Other featured machines will include the HCR-5000, a simultaneous five-axis horizontal machining center, offering high-speed axial acceleration and reduced vibration for superior tool life and surface finishes. Additionally, the Integrex i-350H S Auto Gear (AG) and Integrex i-100H ST multitasking machines will be showcased, featuring second turning spindles and Hybrid AG packages for advanced capabilities in gear manufacturing.

At the event, Mazak will also present the QT-Ez 10MY, a versatile machine that combines milling with Y-axis off-centerline capabilities, enabling multiple operations on a workpiece in a single setup. The VC-Ez 20 VMC, designed for small to medium-sized shops, will also be on display, showcasing Mazak’s Thermal Displacement Control technology, which ensures stable and reliable part processing.

The Southwest Open House will take place June 18-19, 2025, at Mazak’s Southwest Technology Center in Houston, Texas. This event will focus on Mazak’s extensive range of machining technologies and automation solutions tailored for industries such as aerospace and oil & gas. Attendees will experience live cutting demonstrations, lectures, and displays of advanced technology designed to boost production and profitability.

Key technologies highlighted at the Southwest event will include the Variaxis i-800 NEO, a full five-axis VMC ideal for parts with complex profiled surfaces, and the VC-Ez 16X, which offers cost-effective, long-term reliability for machining medical-related five-axis parts. The Integrex i-500S advanced multitasking machine will also be featured, showcasing its ability to combine turning and milling functions for a variety of machining applications. Another key attraction will be the HCN-5000 NEO paired with Mazak’s Multi Pallet Pool (MPP) automation system, designed to optimize part processing in a compact footprint.

For heavy-duty machining applications, particularly in the oil & gas sector, the Slant Turn 550M CNC turning center will be on display, offering powerful machining capabilities for large, long shaft workpieces.

Both events underscore Mazak’s commitment to providing cutting-edge manufacturing solutions that enhance operational efficiency and productivity across various industries. As part of Mazak’s regional Technology Center network, the Northeast and Southwest Technology Centers provide customers with access to process and application engineering expertise, as well as training and collaborative opportunities to develop new manufacturing solutions.

Attendees at these events will also have the chance to explore Mazak’s extensive portfolio of advanced machinery, learn about new technological innovations, and gain insights into the future of manufacturing. The Discover More With Mazak Open House events are set to be invaluable for professionals seeking to stay at the forefront of manufacturing technology and production efficiency.
