Mazak Corporation, a global leader in machine tool manufacturing, has promoted Kevin Bates to the position of Vice President of Sales and Regional Operations. This strategic move comes as part of Mazak’s ongoing commitment to continuous innovation and exceptional customer service in the manufacturing technology sector.
Bates, who brings over 30 years of leadership experience in the machine tool industry, will now be responsible for overseeing Mazak’s six U.S. regions and operations in Canada. In addition to his new role, Bates will continue to lead the company’s SYNCREX Swiss-style turning machine product group, a key area of Mazak’s product offerings.

In conjunction with Bates’ promotion, Randy Ragnini has been appointed General Manager of the Midwest Region. Ragnini, a proven team builder with decades of industry experience, will take on this critical role after previously holding key leadership positions across sales, marketing, operations, and technical product development.
