Luminous Power Technologies, a leading energy solutions provider in India, has unveiled its latest utility-scale inverter models at the India Green Energy Expo 2025, being held at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre from June 19 to June 21, 2025. The models, NXI A3350-HV (350 kW) and NXI A3250-HV (250 kW) 800 V AC, are designed to provide reliable and efficient solar power solutions, addressing the evolving energy demands in India’s transition towards cleaner, renewable energy sources.
The introduction of these new inverters comes at a time when India’s power grid is adapting to an increasing share of decentralized renewable energy. As the grid faces challenges such as voltage fluctuations, harmonic distortion, and transmission losses, the need for advanced grid-tie technologies has never been more critical. These inverters are designed to handle these challenges and maintain grid stability while supporting India’s journey towards energy independence.
Preeti Bajaj, CEO & Managing Director of Luminous Power Technologies, emphasized the company’s commitment to offering innovative solutions that contribute to India’s sustainable growth. “India is at a pivotal point in its energy transition, moving towards a greener and more resilient power system. Our NXI A3350-HV and NXI A3250-HV inverters are part of our commitment to offering innovative, cost-effective solutions that address critical grid challenges,” she said. The goal, she added, is to support India’s energy transition while ensuring reliable power generation and distribution.
The NXI A Series inverters are designed with India’s power sector’s changing needs in mind. The inverters feature a compact, wall-mounted design that not only saves space but also simplifies installation, making them ideal for use in various environments. Built to withstand tough outdoor conditions, they are IP66 and C5-M certified, offering resistance to corrosion and durability in harsh climates. The inverters can operate in extreme temperatures ranging from -30°C to 60°C, ensuring reliable performance in a wide range of Indian environments.
Performance-wise, the NXI A Series boasts more than 99% efficiency, which is crucial for maximizing the output of solar power systems. These inverters also offer robust thermal and electrical stability, ensuring continuous high-power generation even under challenging conditions. They are compatible with leading solar panel technologies, including Topcon and Monocrystalline cells, making them versatile solutions for various solar power setups.
One of the standout features of the NXI A Series is its smart connectivity. The inverters come equipped with real-time remote alerts, enabling quick detection and resolution of issues such as shading that can reduce energy yield. Furthermore, the automatic diagnostic tools continuously monitor panel performance to ensure the system operates at peak efficiency, thus optimizing the return on investment for solar users.
Amit Shukla, Senior Vice President & Business Head of Energy Solutions at Luminous, noted that the NXI A Series offers a significant leap in addressing India’s energy needs. With advanced features such as high efficiency, low harmonic distortion, and enhanced grid support, these inverters are built to improve power quality and stability. Additionally, the shift to an 800V DC architecture facilitates easier integration of renewable sources, reducing transmission losses and supporting seamless connection to high-voltage systems.
These inverters are ideal for utility-scale projects, particularly those under India’s PM KUSUM scheme, as well as group captive, open access, agrivoltaic, and floating solar projects. With end-to-end solutions, Luminous provides a complete solar energy ecosystem, from hardware and solar technology to remote monitoring, installation, and maintenance.
Luminous Power Technologies has a significant presence in India, with a vast network of over 2,000 trained solar professionals and more than 350 service centers across the country. The company’s commitment to providing reliable solar solutions is reflected in its ability to serve both rural and urban markets effectively. The NXI A3350-HV and NXI A3250-HV inverters will be showcased at the India Green Energy Expo 2025, where visitors can explore these advanced technologies and learn about their benefits for India’s growing renewable energy sector.
