Kranti Industries Limited, a publicly listed leader in automotive components and precision engineering, has announced a strategic joint venture with the Kores Group to establish a state-of-the-art precision machining facility in Halol, Gujarat. Operating under the name KRAKO Precision Private Limited, the new plant is set to bolster both companies’ capabilities in high-precision engineering and meet growing demand across domestic and international markets.
The joint venture is a key step in Kranti Industries’ expansion strategy, leveraging its expertise in precision machining and the Kores Group’s extensive industrial experience. Located in Halol, an industrial hub with excellent connectivity to major automotive clusters, the facility will serve as a dedicated machining center for critical cast components used in automotive and industrial engineering applications. The ownership structure allocates 35% to Kranti Industries and 65% to the Kores Group, reflecting a collaborative approach to long-term growth.
Equipped with advanced CNC systems, automation tools, and precision measurement technologies, the facility aims to provide unmatched accuracy, reliability, and scalable production for high-performance engineering components. Initially, KRAKO Precision Private Limited will cater primarily to Kores Group’s internal requirements for precision-cast parts. However, the venture plans to gradually expand its services to a broader customer base across the automotive and general engineering sectors.
Sachin Subhash Vora, Chairman and Managing Director of Kranti Industries, highlighted the strategic importance of the partnership. “Partnering with Kores Group marks a significant milestone in our growth journey. This venture aligns perfectly with our vision to expand into high-value machining segments while driving innovation through collaboration. By combining Kranti’s core strengths in precision manufacturing with the Kores Group’s industrial platform, we are poised to deliver exceptional quality, performance, and value to our stakeholders,” he said.
The Halol plant is strategically positioned to leverage the region’s industrial ecosystem, providing seamless access to OEM hubs, suppliers, and logistic networks across western India. This connectivity will support efficient operations, timely deliveries, and enhanced supply chain integration, further strengthening Kranti’s footprint in the precision engineering market.
The joint venture also emphasizes sustainable operations and technology-driven efficiency. With automation, digital monitoring, and advanced process controls, KRAKO Precision aims to minimize waste, reduce energy consumption, and ensure consistent product quality, aligning with both companies’ commitment to sustainable industrial practices.
KRAKO Precision Private Limited is expected to become a benchmark facility in the high-precision machining sector, combining cutting-edge technology, skilled workforce, and operational excellence. The collaboration represents a forward-looking approach to addressing evolving industry needs, enhancing India’s manufacturing capabilities, and supporting the growth of both domestic and export markets.
Through this initiative, Kranti Industries and the Kores Group are not only expanding their production capacities but also strengthening India’s position in precision engineering, creating employment opportunities, and fostering innovation in the high-value manufacturing ecosystem as part of their Vision 2030 roadmap.
