In modern precision machining, coolant management is one of the most critical factors influencing productivity, tool life, and part quality. Recognizing the increasing demands of high-speed, high-accuracy machining, Jorgensen Conveyors has introduced two advanced solutions—the FlexForce high-pressure coolant system and the EcoFilter 80 fine chip filtration conveyor. Both systems are designed to give manufacturers a clear edge by improving coolant performance, chip handling, and overall machine efficiency.

The Jorgensen FlexForce is a high-pressure coolant delivery system created specifically for machine tools requiring through-spindle coolant in the 500 to 1,000 PSIG range. By forcing coolant directly to the cutting zone, it breaks through the vapor barrier generated at the interface of the cutting tool and workpiece, where heat build-up is at its peak. This direct delivery ensures more effective heat removal, better chip evacuation, and enhanced cutting stability. As a result, machines equipped with FlexForce can achieve faster feeds and speeds, maintain consistent temperatures, and extend both tool life and coolant performance. The system is engineered with an onboard coolant reservoir, a premium diaphragm pump, and a compact footprint that allows seamless integration into existing systems. It is also designed for easy maintenance, ensuring safe, efficient operation without disrupting production. For applications that require higher performance or unique specifications beyond the standard 500 and 1,000 PSI options, Jorgensen provides custom-engineered FlexForce units or complete coolant filtration systems to meet specialized needs.

While FlexForce optimizes coolant delivery, the EcoFilter 80 addresses the equally important challenge of filtration. This conveyor is the first third-party tested and approved economical non-drum style solution capable of filtering coolant down to 80-micron nominal. Its design simultaneously removes larger chips on a hinged steel belt while capturing finer particles through a flow-through EcoFilter cell. The system ensures that used coolant carrying fine chips is processed efficiently: clean coolant is returned to the tank, and fine metal particles are brushed from the filter screen before being lifted out of the system by belt cleats for disposal. This continuous separation greatly reduces the number of chips that would otherwise accumulate in the coolant tank, minimizing downtime for tank cleaning and extending the service life of pumps, tooling, and coolant itself.

By keeping coolant cleaner and reducing chip migration, the EcoFilter 80 not only lowers maintenance demands but also improves part surface finishes and contributes to a more sustainable machining process. It provides manufacturers with a cost-effective alternative to drum-style conveyors while delivering superior performance and reliability.

Together, FlexForce and EcoFilter 80 demonstrate Jorgensen’s commitment to advancing coolant management solutions that match the evolving needs of the manufacturing sector. By combining efficient high-pressure coolant delivery with economical fine filtration, these innovations help manufacturers achieve higher productivity, lower operational costs, and better machining outcomes. In an environment where every competitive advantage matters, Jorgensen’s solutions stand out as powerful tools for driving efficiency and quality on the shop floor.
