Jersey Shore Steel Expands Production Capacity by 25% Amid Anticipated Steel Tariffs!

Jersey Shore Steel, a renowned steel mill manufacturer specializing in precision angles and specialty shapes, has announced a significant 25% increase in production capacity. This expansion aims to address anticipated supply chain disruptions caused by newly imposed tariffs on foreign steel, ensuring the company can continue to meet customer demands without compromise.

According to Tim Devine, sales manager, many customers have expressed concerns over the steel tariffs and have actively collaborated with Jersey Shore Steel to redesign their finished products. These efforts are aimed at taking advantage of the company’s 100% made-in-the-USA steel, providing a reliable domestic alternative during uncertain times in the global steel market.

Jersey Shore Steel operates two strategically located facilities in Pennsylvania to support this capacity expansion. The steel mill in Avis serves as the company’s core manufacturing hub, while the fabrication shop with powder coating facilities in Montoursille offers end-to-end services to meet diverse customer needs. Together, these facilities ensure that the company can deliver high-quality, precision steel products efficiently.

This capacity expansion highlights Jersey Shore Steel’s proactive approach to addressing market challenges and reinforces its commitment to quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction. By bolstering its operational capabilities, the company is well-positioned to support industries navigating supply chain uncertainties and strengthen its role as a leading provider of domestic steel solutions.
