Jergens India Names Ashish Lala as Managing Director to Lead Next Phase of Growth

Jergens India Pvt Ltd has officially appointed Ashish Lala as its new Managing Director, succeeding Joseph Killukan, who successfully led the company’s India operations for over 15 years. The leadership transition marks a new chapter for the company’s growing presence in the Indian manufacturing sector, as it aims to deepen market engagement and expand its portfolio of lifting, safety fasteners, and workholding solutions.
Lala, a seasoned industry veteran with a strong foundation in production, engineering, and business management, brings a global perspective and extensive expertise in the sales and marketing of machine tools and manufacturing processes. He will report directly to Matt Schron, Vice President and General Manager for Jergens.
“We believe that Ashish – with his production, engineering, and management background – is perfectly qualified to take charge,” said Schron. “His global experience in sales and marketing of machine tools and processes has prepared him for bringing Jergens solutions to this important market.”
The transition comes as Joseph Killukan steps down after a long and impactful tenure as Managing Director, during which he played a pivotal role in establishing and expanding Jergens’ footprint across India. To ensure a smooth changeover, Killukan will continue with the organization in an advisory capacity, assisting with leadership mentoring and strategic continuity.
