Jeh Aerospace Launches Jeh Center of Aerospace Skill (JCAS) to Enhance India’s Aerospace Talent Pool!

Jeh Aerospace has officially inaugurated the Jeh Center of Aerospace Skill (JCAS), a state-of-the-art facility designed to enhance India’s aerospace manufacturing talent pool. The event was graced by industry leaders, including Pratyush Kumar, Board Member at Jeh Aerospace, and prominent figures like Joe D’Martino, CEO of Solestra Group, and John Lynde, Vice President at GS Precision.

Despite having a large and capable engineering workforce, India has faced challenges in meeting the specialized skill requirements of the aerospace sector. JCAS is designed to fill this gap by offering comprehensive, hands-on training for machinists, assemblers, inspectors, and engineers, equipping them with the necessary skills to thrive in the highly competitive aerospace manufacturing industry.

The JCAS facility offers a robust three-phase training program, meticulously designed to provide a full spectrum of aerospace manufacturing skills:

  1. Classroom Instruction: Foundational theoretical education covering core aerospace manufacturing principles.
  2. Practical Experience: Hands-on training using specialized equipment and dummy components to enhance technical expertise.
  3. On-the-Job Training: Real-world experience with supervised exposure to advanced production machinery and actual aerospace parts.

Each training track is tailored to specific roles, ensuring a personalized and effective learning experience for each individual.

The JCAS model stands out due to its unique integration with Jeh Aerospace’s production processes. This closed-loop model facilitates real-time feedback from the shop floor, allowing the training program to be dynamically adjusted based on actual production challenges and needs. This ensures that the curriculum is always aligned with the evolving demands of the industry.

The training initiative is a key part of Jeh Aerospace’s broader commitment to fostering a highly skilled, globally competitive workforce. Vishal R Sanghavi, CEO, and Venkatesh Mudragalla, COO, both of whom have previously spearheaded joint ventures with major U.S. aerospace OEMs, emphasized the company’s dedication to quality and sustainability. “The Jeh Center of Aerospace Skill reflects our long-term commitment to developing a world-class aerospace manufacturing workforce,” said Sanghavi and Mudragalla. “By investing in specialized training, we aim to empower individuals and drive the future of India’s aerospace manufacturing sector.”

As part of Jeh Aerospace’s forward-thinking approach, the JCAS center highlights the company’s investment in developing a skilled workforce rather than simply focusing on rapid growth. Through this initiative, Jeh Aerospace aims to solidify its position as a leading player in India’s growing aerospace industry.
