Introducing Rebel 80 Servo v3: Edge Technologies’ Next-Level Short Loading Machine

Edge Technologies has unveiled an upgraded version of its Rebel 80 short loading machine, dubbed the Rebel 80 Servo v3. Boasting enhanced features and a user-friendly design, this latest iteration is tailored to automate short production runs at a budget-friendly price point.

Equipped with an improved conversational control system featuring a new touchscreen human-machine interface (HMI) and a 300-program storage capacity, the Rebel 80 Servo v3 is ideal for advanced interfacing and complex applications such as shaft loading. However, it remains optimized for quick changeovers and ease of use in short-run scenarios.

Key enhancements include the addition of rollers to the V tray, two polycarbonate windows for bar loading observation, and a folding axial shift (X axis) that optimizes space efficiency while facilitating maintenance access and spindle-liner changeover.

Furthermore, the Rebel 80 Servo v3 offers versatile loading configurations, including the option to configure the magazine for front feeding. Notable advantages also include an optional kit for automated shaft loading and an extended magazine rack.

Kevin Meehan, President of Edge Technologies, expresses enthusiasm about the Rebel 80 Servo v3, describing it as a game-changer in production bar working. He attributes its innovative design to a culmination of extensive customer feedback and Edge Technologies’ nearly four decades of experience in magazine bar feeding.
