Hirebotics LLC, a Nashville, Tennessee–based provider of collaborative robot (cobot) systems for metal fabrication, has announced the promotion of co-founder Matthew Bush to Chief Executive Officer. Bush succeeds fellow co-founder Rob Goldiez, who is retiring after more than a decade of leadership at the company.
The leadership transition marks a new phase in Hirebotics’ growth as the company continues expanding its automation solutions for manufacturing and fabrication industries. Bush previously served as Chief Operating Officer and has played a key role in shaping the company’s product development, engineering and manufacturing operations.
Since the founding of Hirebotics in 2015, Bush has overseen the development of the company’s electromechanical systems and automation technologies. Under his leadership in operations and engineering, the company has introduced collaborative robotic solutions designed to simplify automation for manufacturers, particularly in welding and metal fabrication applications.
Hirebotics focuses on providing easy-to-deploy cobot systems that allow fabrication shops to automate repetitive and labor-intensive processes. These systems are widely used to improve productivity, maintain consistent weld quality and address workforce shortages in the manufacturing sector.
Before launching Hirebotics with Rob Goldiez, Bush held several senior leadership roles at companies within IDEX Corporation and at The Scott Fetzer Company. In those roles, he gained extensive experience in product development, operations management and manufacturing strategy.
Bush holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Florida Warrington College of Business and a master’s degree in industrial technology from the University of Northern Iowa.
As CEO, Bush is expected to continue advancing Hirebotics’ mission of making industrial automation more accessible for manufacturers. The company aims to support fabrication businesses with collaborative robotic solutions that combine advanced technology with practical, shop-floor usability.
The leadership change reflects the company’s ongoing evolution as it expands its portfolio of automation technologies and strengthens its presence in the metal fabrication and manufacturing automation markets.
