Hino Motors Manufacturing U.S.A., Inc. has revealed a new management structure that focuses on North American expertise and a refined focus on responsibilities. The new management team comprises a President, Chief Operating Officer, and an Executive Vice President who bring together extensive knowledge of manufacturing, compliance, and strategy from Hino globally.
Masamichi Mizukoshi has been appointed to President and CEO, bringing his 35-year experience in various domestic and international leadership positions at Toyota Motor Corporation. Mizukoshi was the COO of Hino Motors Manufacturing U.S.A. since 2019 and had previously served as managing officer for Hino Motors Ltd. Takashi Ono, who served as the previous President for Hino Motors Manufacturing U.S.A. since 2017, has been appointed to Chief Toyota Business Officer.
Davey Jung has been appointed to Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President for Toyota Business. Jung has held various roles at Hino Motors Manufacturing Michigan offices and was most recently the Executive Vice President, SVP for Purchasing, Sales, R&D, and Corporate Strategy. Previously, he held positions such as chief engineer and director of sales during a 13-year period at Dana Incorporated in Ohio.
Masaki Hanayama has been appointed to Executive Vice President and will oversee Hino Motors Manufacturing Truck Business, Production Planning Control, and R&D. Hanayama was previously the product strategy department officer for Hino Motors Ltd. and had served in leadership roles such as the Commercial Japan Partnership Technologies (CJPT) Promotion Department General Manager and Corporate Strategy Department Officer since 1994 with Hino Motors Ltd.
