Hewlett Packard Enterprise Announces New Leadership Appointment in India!

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) (NYSE: HPE) has announced the appointment of Bhawna Agarwal as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of HPE India, effective immediately. Bhawna will report to Heiko Meyer, Executive Vice President and Chief Sales Officer at HPE.

Bhawna Agarwal succeeds Som Satsangi, who is retiring after more than 27 years of dedicated service to the company. Som, who has been a key leader in HPE India, will remain with the company until July 2025 to ensure a smooth leadership transition. Som’s long tenure began in 1997 when he joined Compaq, which was later acquired by HP in 2002. Over the years, Som took on several important roles within the company and was appointed as Managing Director of HPE India in 2016. Under his leadership, HPE India became one of the most successful regional operations for the company, and Som played a key role in the business’s strategic growth and expansion.

Bhawna Agarwal, who has been with HPE since 2019, brings over 25 years of leadership experience across various industries, including digital start-ups, media companies, and major consumer tech organizations. Prior to her new role, Bhawna led the Compute Business Unit and Growth Team at HPE and more recently, she oversaw Account Management and Industry Verticals for HPE India. Bhawna’s extensive background makes her well-equipped to lead the company as it continues to grow and innovate in the rapidly evolving technology space.

Both Bhawna and Som recently participated in the inauguration of HPE’s 6001st “Made in India” server, highlighting HPE’s significant contribution to India’s “Make in India” initiative. The event was attended by Indian IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, marking an important milestone in HPE’s operations in India.

Heiko Meyer, Executive Vice President and Chief Sales Officer at HPE, praised Som’s leadership and his customer-centric approach, stating, “Som has been an expert counselor and a driven leader.
