HCLTech and Astemo Cypremos Forge Strategic Alliance to Drive Software-Defined Vehicle Innovation!

HCLTech, a global leader in technology solutions, has entered into a multi-year strategic partnership with Astemo Cypremos Ltd, the software and cloud services arm of Astemo Ltd, to accelerate advancements in software-defined vehicles (SDVs). This collaboration is aimed at redefining the future of mobility through the integration of cloud-native technologies, AI, and intelligent systems designed for autonomous and connected vehicles.

As part of the alliance, HCLTech will help Astemo Cypremos transition toward a software-centric development model, enabling faster innovation across next-generation automotive platforms. Leveraging its proprietary tools and engineering capabilities, HCLTech will deliver end-to-end solutions that streamline software validation, enhance system performance, and shorten development cycles.

Central to the partnership is HCLTech’s TestSphere, an advanced testing framework that minimizes dependency on physical hardware while accelerating validation timelines. Alongside this, AI Force, the company’s AI-based transformation suite, will improve software reliability and system intelligence. HCLTech will also deploy Cloud Bridge, a smart, multi-cloud engineering platform designed to support scalable testing environments, enabling agile and robust product development.

Takeshi Mitamura, President and CEO of Astemo Cypremos, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating that it reflects both companies’ commitment to tackling the increasing complexity of software development in the automotive domain. “By partnering with HCLTech, we aim to strengthen our cloud-based and intelligent system capabilities to lead the transformation toward software-defined mobility,” he said.

Masayuki Nakayama, Senior Vice President and Country Head – Japan at HCLTech, added that this partnership represents a pivotal step in reshaping the automotive technology landscape. “With our engineering excellence and advanced platforms, we are committed to delivering safer, smarter, and future-ready vehicle solutions for global consumers,” he noted.

Early pilot programs under the partnership have already demonstrated reduced validation times and enhanced operational efficiency, underscoring the transformative potential of the alliance. The collaboration is expected to influence millions of vehicle users across more than 150 countries, reinforcing the companies’ shared vision for intelligent, connected, and sustainable mobility.

Astemo Cypremos Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Astemo Ltd, is dedicated to building scalable, software-defined vehicle platforms that extend digital transformation beyond the vehicle itself. Through cloud-native development and intelligent systems integration, the company aims to be at the forefront of modern mobility innovation.

Together, HCLTech and Astemo Cypremos are laying the groundwork for a new era in automotive design—one defined by flexibility, intelligence, and cloud-powered advancement.
