ANCA CNC Machines Launches ANCA Academy: A New e-Learning Platform for Precision Tool Manufacturing!
ANCA CNC Machines has introduced the ANCA Academy, an innovative e-learning platform designed to enhance skills…
Grob Systems Inc. has unveiled its G550T five-axis mill-turn universal machining center, designed to deliver exceptional flexibility, high productivity, and precision in manufacturing. This advanced machining center features an innovative design with a large swivel range across its axes, complemented by a horizontal spindle position, making it suitable for a wide range of machining applications.
The horizontal spindle position of the G550T allows for the longest Z-travel path, ensuring optimal chip fall and efficient machining operations. The machine’s design minimizes the distance between the linear axes and the machining point, which enhances stability during part production. Furthermore, the G550T’s tunnel concept enables machining of large components, even with extended tools, without any risk of collision, further increasing its versatility.
Equipped with three linear and two rotary axes, the G550T offers impressive five-sided machining capabilities, five-axis simultaneous interpolation, and Grob TRAORI turning. With a swivel range of 230 degrees in the A-axis and 360 degrees in the B-axis, this machining center provides unmatched positioning flexibility, making it a powerful tool for precision machining in various industries.
The G550T is engineered for high performance, stability, and maintainability, incorporating advanced features such as power skiving for greater productivity in manufacturing complex parts. This versatile machine is ideal for industries that require high-precision, flexible machining, further solidifying Grob Systems’ commitment to innovation and efficiency in manufacturing technology.
