Genesys International Corporation Limited has announced a landmark partnership with Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited to deliver advanced navigation and mapping technologies for the automaker’s upcoming generation of vehicles. Under this six-year agreement, Genesys will provide standard-definition maps for in-car navigation and high-definition maps to support Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) across Tata Motors’ Software-Defined Vehicle platform in India.
The deal follows a licensing model under which Genesys will receive fees based on the number of vehicles sold. The agreement, formally disclosed through a regulatory filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on October 17, 2025, was finalized on independent commercial terms and involves no related-party transactions. Genesys confirmed that none of its promoters or affiliates hold any interest in Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited.
This collaboration represents a significant step forward in the integration of precision mapping technologies within India’s automotive ecosystem. With vehicles becoming increasingly software-driven and reliant on real-time data for safety and navigation, this partnership underscores the growing importance of geospatial intelligence in enhancing driver experience and enabling smart mobility solutions.
Genesys, with over 2,000 skilled professionals and more than two decades of expertise in geospatial sciences, offers a robust portfolio that includes 3D Digital Twin development, LiDAR-based mapping, AI-driven analytics, and cloud-integrated smart infrastructure solutions. The company also specializes in Building Information Modeling (BIM) for urban and infrastructure projects, helping both government and private sectors drive digital transformation through spatial intelligence.
By partnering with Tata Motors—one of India’s most prominent automotive brands—Genesys further cements its position as a key technology enabler in the country’s evolving connected mobility landscape, powering the shift toward intelligent, software-defined, and data-driven transportation systems.
