GalaxEye has entered into a strategic partnership with NewSpace India Limited (NSIL), marking a significant milestone in India’s private space sector. Under the agreement, GalaxEye becomes the first private Indian satellite operator to collaborate with NSIL through a data reseller arrangement, strengthening the commercialization pathway for indigenous Earth observation technologies.

The partnership supports GalaxEye’s flagship initiative, Mission Drishti, and enhances the global distribution of its SyncFused OptoSAR imaging products. SyncFused OptoSAR combines optical and synthetic aperture radar (SAR) technologies, enabling high-resolution, all-weather imaging capabilities. These advanced datasets are designed to serve sectors including agriculture, disaster management, infrastructure planning, resource mapping and environmental monitoring.

Through the reseller arrangement, NSIL will distribute GalaxEye’s full suite of satellite data products in domestic and international markets. The collaboration expands GalaxEye’s access to global customers while reinforcing confidence in its proprietary technology and long-term constellation plans.

NSIL leadership stated that the agreement supports the broader Aatmanirbhar Bharat vision by promoting Indian-developed space products and services in international markets. The partnership also aligns with the Government of India’s Make in India initiative and reflects ongoing efforts to deepen private participation in the space economy.

GalaxEye’s leadership emphasized that the collaboration signals the readiness of India’s emerging private space ecosystem to scale commercially. By leveraging NSIL’s established distribution network, the company aims to deliver advanced Earth observation capabilities to a wider user base while contributing to national development priorities.

Founded in 2021, GalaxEye is developing what it describes as the world’s first SyncFused OptoSAR imaging satellite and India’s largest privately built satellite. The NSIL partnership represents a key step toward realizing its planned ten-satellite constellation, which is intended to provide persistent, high-quality imaging coverage for both domestic and global applications.

Backed by investors including MountTech Growth Fund Kavachh, Mela Ventures, Speciale Invest, Infosys, Rainmatter and Navam Capital, GalaxEye is positioning itself as a significant player in the global Earth observation market. The agreement with NSIL not only enhances its commercial reach but also highlights growing synergy between India’s public space institutions and its rapidly evolving private space sector.
