Fagor Arrasate and Butech Bliss Form Strategic Partnership to Expand Coil Processing Capabilities
Fagor Arrasate and Butech Bliss have announced a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening their combined ability to deliver advanced coil processing solutions to metals producers and processors worldwide.
The collaboration brings together two well-established players in the metal processing industry, each with complementary strengths across slitting, leveling, automation and material handling technologies. By aligning their product portfolios and service capabilities, the companies intend to offer customers more comprehensive, flexible and globally supported coil processing systems.
Fagor Arrasate is known globally for its metal forming and processing equipment, including slitting lines, stamping systems, automation solutions and integrated production technologies. Butech Bliss supplies a broad range of coil processing equipment for metals producers and processors, such as cut-to-length lines, leveling and stretch leveling systems, slitting lines, automation solutions and material handling systems. The partnership is designed to leverage these overlapping and complementary competencies to better serve evolving customer requirements.
As part of the agreement, Fagor Arrasate’s FASTR slitter tooling robot will be incorporated into a wider slitting equipment offering. The FASTR system can be applied to both new slitting lines and existing installations, regardless of the original equipment manufacturer, providing greater flexibility for customers looking to automate tooling changes and improve operational efficiency. This capability allows metal processors to enhance productivity and reduce downtime without being locked into a single OEM ecosystem.
In parallel, Fagor Arrasate will integrate Butech Bliss scrap choppers and stretch levelers into its global product portfolio. This integration expands the range of coil processing solutions available to customers, enabling the delivery of more complete, end-to-end systems that address slitting, leveling and downstream material handling requirements within a unified project scope.
Beyond equipment supply, the partnership also encompasses service, aftermarket and rebuild support.
