ENCY Software, a European developer of CAD/CAM/OLP solutions for automating CNC machine and industrial robot programming, has officially launched its wholly-owned subsidiary, ENCY Software India Pvt. Ltd., in Pune, Maharashtra. This move marks a significant strategic expansion for the company into one of the world’s fastest-growing markets for manufacturing and automation.
The decision to establish a local presence in India comes at a time when the country’s industrial sector is undergoing rapid transformation. With government initiatives like “Make in India” and a strong push for smart manufacturing, India is seeing an increase in demand for CNC machining, robotic automation, and intelligent software solutions. The Indian market is projected to witness double-digit growth in the metalworking industry, driven by key sectors such as automotive, aerospace, defense, and general engineering. These industries are making significant investments in modern CNC machines and digital production tools, making it a prime market for ENCY Software’s advanced solutions.
The robotics sector is evolving from basic automation to more advanced multi-axis systems, while the CAD/CAM software market is shifting from traditional solutions to more integrated platforms that streamline the connection between engineering and production. This transformation presents a significant opportunity for ENCY Software to provide innovative solutions tailored to meet the growing demand for automation and robot programming in India.
At the heart of ENCY Software’s expansion into India is its ENCY X ecosystem. The ecosystem includes several key products designed to optimize and streamline manufacturing processes:
The new ENCE Software India subsidiary will focus on supporting local customers, providing technical support, and developing a network of regional partners to further expand the ecosystem’s reach. ENCY plans to promote and adapt the ENCY X ecosystem to meet the specific needs of the Indian market, positioning the company to play a central role in India’s manufacturing and automation growth.
As part of its efforts to build a strong presence in India, ENCY Software participated in IMTEX 2025, one of India’s premier trade shows for metalworking and manufacturing technology. During the event, ENCY Software conducted an in-depth analysis of the Indian manufacturing landscape and held discussions with existing clients, new prospects, and regional partners. These discussions revealed a strong demand for high-performance CAD/CAM tools, shop-floor simulation, and integrated robot programming solutions—offering ENCY Software a solid foundation to tap into the growing demand for advanced manufacturing technologies in India.
“India is moving fast in manufacturing and automation, and it’s not just about scale — it’s about quality, precision, and flexibility,” said Andrew Lovygin, Channel Sales Director at ENCY Software. “With ENCY Software India, our goal is to support local manufacturers with tools that reduce programming time and improve communication between engineers and operators. We invite Indian system integrators, distributors, and CNC machine suppliers to explore partnership opportunities.”
The Indian office will be led by Sandeep Srivastava, who has been appointed Managing Director of ENCY Software India Pvt. Ltd. With nearly 30 years of professional experience in sales, leadership, and brand building within the CAD/CAM/CAE industry, Srivastava has a proven track record of driving sales growth through innovative strategies and customer-focused value delivery across Asia Pacific, Africa, and Europe.
“This is one of the best times to enter the Indian market, as GDP growth in India has been the highest among large economies in recent years and is expected to maintain this trajectory,” Srivastava said. “India’s manufacturing sector currently accounts for 14% of its GDP and is projected to reach 22% within the next three years. This growth is driven by initiatives like the Production Linked Incentive (PLI), rising domestic demand, and government support.”
As the Indian manufacturing sector continues to expand, driven by both government policies and technological advancements, ENCY Software’s entry into the market positions the company to help shape the future of automation and digital manufacturing in India. Through its advanced solutions, local expertise, and strategic partnerships, ENCY Software aims to empower Indian manufacturers with the tools necessary to thrive in a competitive, technology-driven landscape.
This expansion marks a significant milestone in ENCY Software’s global strategy, bringing cutting-edge automation and robot programming solutions to India’s fast-evolving industrial market. With a strong local presence and the ability to tailor solutions to the unique needs of Indian manufacturers, ENCY Software is poised to play a pivotal role in India’s smart manufacturing revolution.
