EMO World Tour 2025 Briefs UK Industry – MTDCNC to Deliver Event Coverage

Earlier this month, the EMO World Tour 2025 stopped in London to brief UK media and industry leaders on what promises to be a landmark edition of the world’s leading trade fair for production technology, taking place from 22 to 26 September in Hanover, Germany.

For over 50 years, EMO has stood at the forefront of innovation in the metalworking industry, acting as a global hub for production technology. Organised by the German Machine Tool Builders’ Association (VDW), the biennial event showcases cutting-edge machinery, automation, additive manufacturing, software, and solutions driving the future of the engineering sector. This year, under the theme “Innovate Manufacturing”, EMO Hannover 2025 will focus on transformative technologies to modernise production, combat workforce shortages, and support the shift toward more sustainable and circular economies.

Unfortunately, due to work and travel commitments, MTDCNC was unable to attend the London briefing in person. However, we are fully committed to covering EMO Hannover 2025 and will be present at the event in September. To help manufacturers maximise their exposure, we are offering comprehensive filming and broadcasting packages designed to extend your reach far beyond the exhibition week. Our content services allow you to engage with global audiences before, during, and after EMO — ensuring your innovations don’t just make a statement on the stand but resonate across digital platforms.

The upcoming show will spotlight AI, automation, and digitalisation as key drivers of the future. Visitors can expect to see live demonstrations of intelligent systems, from sensor-rich machinery and predictive maintenance to cyber-secure, data-driven production ecosystems. These technologies are not just streamlining operations but helping bridge the skills gap and boost productivity.

Dr Markus Heering, Executive Director at VDW, emphasised EMO’s unique role in representing the entire metalworking value chain: “The theme ‘Innovate Manufacturing’ is more than a slogan — it’s a challenge to the industry to fully embrace new technologies.”

With more than 1,400 exhibitors expected, EMO 2025 will also feature a Sustainability Area, highlighting energy-efficient processes, circular production models, and carbon footprint tracking tools — all essential as manufacturers pivot toward greener practices.

If your company is exhibiting or attending EMO, connect with MTDCNC to make sure your message reaches beyond the show floor. Let’s ensure your innovation story is told to the world.
