Edge Technologies Elevates Sales Leadership with Strategic Promotions and Key Hire


Edge Technologies has appointed Dan Borders as the new national sales manager, elevating him from his previous role as regional sales manager for the mid-Atlantic territory. In his new position, Borders will focus on strengthening and developing Edge’s regional sales team, enhancing standards, capabilities, and benchmarks for excellence, and advancing Edge’s standing in the automatic magazine bar feeder industry.

Borders began his career as a machinist at Davis Tool & Die Co. in the Greater St. Louis region before transitioning to CNC equipment sales with Edge Technologies. With five years of experience as a product manager for Vortex mist filtration systems and regional sales manager, Borders expresses excitement about contributing further to the organization’s success by leading the improvement of the dynamic sales team.

Alongside Borders’ promotion, Edge Technologies has welcomed Greg Haering as the new regional sales manager for the mid-Atlantic territory, covering New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland. Haering, succeeding Borders in the role, will continue the company’s focus on building strong relationships with machine tool dealers, OEMs, and end users through sales engineering and technical support throughout the sales process.

Haering brings 15 years of industry experience, having spent a decade as a CNC machinist, engineer, and shopfloor supervisor for an aerospace manufacturer in New Jersey. His subsequent five years were dedicated to serving as a sales and applications engineer for a leading cutting tool manufacturer.

Expressing his enthusiasm for joining Edge, Haering states, “Edge’s extensive customer base in this region and their reputation with customers, many of whom I know, attracted me to the company. I look forward to applying my machining expertise to help production shops achieve excellent results with magazine bar feeders.”
