DriveX Appoints Vinod Gupta as Vice President – Manufacturing to Propel Growth and Operational Scale!

With a career spanning over 24 years in automotive quality and manufacturing, Gupta’s expertise will play a pivotal role as DriveX accelerates its nationwide expansion.

Gupta’s impressive background includes leadership positions at renowned companies such as Honda Cars India and electric vehicle start-up Altigreen. At Honda, Gupta was instrumental in setting up new manufacturing plants, managing quality for export models across various global markets, and maintaining the company’s stronghold in product quality rankings within India. His experience at Altigreen further honed his operational skills, where he successfully established manufacturing quality systems from the ground up and scaled operations to high-volume production within two years. This ability to blend startup agility with structured execution will be invaluable as DriveX continues to expand.

At DriveX, Gupta will oversee the company’s entire manufacturing and refurbishment operations. His primary focus will be on scaling vehicle certification systems and enhancing the company’s delivery capabilities. His appointment comes at a critical time as DriveX aims to expand its footprint to 500 retail outlets by 2027, positioning itself as a leader in India’s pre-owned two-wheeler market.

He is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, having led numerous initiatives in Total Quality Management (TQM), Quality 4.0, and enterprise-wide quality management systems.
