Delta Star Expands Lynchburg Facility with $35 Million Investment, Creating 300 Jobs!

Delta Star Inc., a leading manufacturer of power transformers and mobile substations for the electrical grid, has announced a $35 million investment to expand its operations in Lynchburg, Virginia. This expansion, which marks the company’s second in two years, is expected to create 300 new jobs and significantly increase manufacturing capacity.

The decision to expand comes in response to the growing global demand for reliable and sustainable energy solutions. Delta Star’s investment will not only bolster its production capabilities but also enable the company to continue advancing its technological innovations to meet the ever-evolving needs of the energy sector.

Jason Greene, President and CEO of Delta Star, emphasized the importance of this expansion, stating, “We are excited to expand our Lynchburg facility to help address the global demand for energy solutions that prioritize both reliability and sustainability. In addition to the Lynchburg facility, Delta Star operates plants in San Carlos, California, and near Montreal, Canada.
