From sharp edges to tiny tapers – this is metrology that measures up!
When it comes to modern manufacturing, if you can’t measure it, you can’t trust it. That’s…
CPFD Software has announced the availability of Barracuda Virtual Reactor 25.0 on the Altair Partner Alliance (APA), offering enhanced simulation capabilities for users in industrial fluid-particle systems. This new version of the flagship product introduces several powerful improvements, including updated wall impact models, enhanced thermal modeling, better input/output handling, and a more intuitive user experience.
Altair customers who are already part of the APA can now access and download the latest version of Barracuda Virtual Reactor directly through the Altair One portal. The integration with APA further streamlines the accessibility of this advanced simulation tool, providing Altair clients with cutting-edge capabilities for simulating 3D, transient fluid-particle hydrodynamics, heat balance, and chemical reactions in industrial fluidized bed reactors.
CPFD Software’s Barracuda Virtual Reactor is a physics-based engineering software package used by engineers and researchers working in sustainability, renewables, and decarbonization technologies. It is designed to help users reduce physical testing costs, minimize development risk, and accelerate the commercialization of new technologies. The software allows users to simulate a broad range of fluid-particle systems, making it easier to explore new ideas and communicate technological innovations to stakeholders, including partners, customers, and investors.
To help users familiarize themselves with the new features of Virtual Reactor 25.0, CPFD Software has organized a “Getting Started with Virtual Reactor 25.0” webinar. Additionally, Altair has created a webinar titled “Unlocking the Power of Multi-Phase Simulation: Exploring Barracuda Virtual Reactor” for further insights into the software’s capabilities.
CPFD Software’s innovative approach provides an objective basis for assessing the merits of technologies, offering significant advantages in terms of reducing development time, improving scalability, and supporting patent applications. Barracuda Virtual Reactor is available through software licensing, services, or custom collaborative arrangements.
