Velo3D Unveils Rapid Production Solutions for Additive Manufacturing!
Velo3D, a leading innovator in metal additive manufacturing (AM), has introduced its new Rapid Production Solutions…
Ceratizit USA, a leading manufacturer of standard and custom tooling for the metalworking industry, has promoted Shannon Grismore to the position of Sales Director for the Central Zone. Grismore, who brings nearly three decades of experience in machining, sales, and application, will oversee a growing territory that includes Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio.
Before his promotion, Grismore served as a sales engineer in Southern Indiana and Kentucky for almost three years, supporting and assisting Ceratizit customers. A native of Indiana, Grismore has a deep understanding of midwestern manufacturing at the shop-floor level and has built strong relationships with customers across the region. He spent 13 years as a machinist with the former Delaware Machinery & Tool Company, Inc., specializing in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of tools for die-cast components. Following that, Grismore worked as an applications specialist for a standard and custom tool maker, eventually transitioning into a sales engineer position with a major cutting tool manufacturer.
Troy Wilt, Managing Director of Ceratizit USA’s Cutting Tools Division, praised Grismore’s promotion, noting, “Shannon’s extensive experience as a machinist allows him to understand the requirements and challenges encountered on the shop floor. That ability, combined with his deep product knowledge, will continue to drive growth and customer satisfaction in Ceratizit’s central zone.”
Grismore expressed his excitement about his new role, stating, “Manufacturing is core to my professional path as well as my personal story. In the states I now oversee, more than two million people are employed in the industry. My goal is to bring our culture of excellence and collaboration to customers, ensuring they have cutting-edge solutions to remain competitive in an ever-evolving machining landscape.”
