Blue Energy Motors Appoints Anand Mimani as CEO of EV & New Energy Business!

Blue Energy Motors has announced the appointment of Anand Mimani as Chief Executive Officer of its EV & New Energy Business, a dedicated vertical within the company’s clean freight ecosystem. Mimani will oversee business strategy, operations, product rollout, and the expansion of the partner ecosystem, with a sharp focus on scaling zero-emission trucking solutions. He will report directly to Anirudh Bhuwalka, Founder and Managing Director of Blue Energy Motors, who continues to guide the company’s broader mission and group-level leadership.
In announcing the appointment, Bhuwalka emphasized the importance of focused leadership as the company expands across multiple high-growth areas. “As we scale rapidly, it’s critical to bring in focused leadership for each of our high-growth verticals. Anand’s appointment as CEO of our EV and New Energy Business significantly strengthens our execution capacity in the electric mobility and infrastructure space, while advancing our broader vision for a zero-emission freight future,” he said.
The new vertical integrates battery-electric trucks, LNG-powered vehicles, and energy-as-a-service solutions to deliver a comprehensive approach to sustainable freight. Blue Energy Motors is actively building infrastructure to support this transition, including scaling charging and battery-swapping hubs while forging partnerships with energy providers, logistics firms, and OEMs. Mimani’s appointment is expected to accelerate these efforts and ensure seamless alignment across products, infrastructure, and partnerships.
Mimani brings 26 years of experience in mobility, energy, and clean technology. He has previously led India’s largest fleet of LNG-powered trucks, helping reduce CO₂ emissions while earning recognition as Logistics Leader of the Year from the Institute of Supply Chain Management. His experience in deploying large-scale clean mobility solutions positions him well to drive Blue Energy’s EV and new energy ambitions.
