From India to the world: CNC manufacturing on the rise
Not just high quality components – Indian manufacturers like Global CNC are transforming the industry with…
BLM GROUP USA has launched ArGo, a new scalable and customizable CAM programming software designed for 5-axis lasers. This advanced software simplifies the complete management of tubes and three-dimensional metal profiles, including deep-drawn, stamped, die-cast, and hydroformed parts, positioning ArGo as a significant advancement in tube processing and 5-axis laser cutting.
ArGo enhances user experience with an intuitive, user-friendly interface, enabling users to easily handle the complexities of programming 5-axis laser systems. It is designed for seamless integration with other BLMelements software, allowing for a unified approach to tube management and laser cutting.
“We are excited to offer ArGo to our customers,” said Lorenzo Carminato, Business Development Manager at BLM GROUP USA. “ArGo offers the next step in advancing our customers’ capabilities, bringing together virtual software and real-world machine operations, thanks to BLM GROUP’s expertise accumulated over 20 years of innovation in tube processing.”
ArGo’s features include:
ArGo also provides reverse engineering capabilities, enabling users to read existing part programs. This feature facilitates rebuilding a complete project based on a pre-machined part or adjusting offsets applied on the machine back to a model directly from the office. This capability is particularly beneficial for customers looking to streamline their workflow and create digital twins of their physical machines.
For curved tubes, ArGo’s automatic recognition of sections and bending axes allows for easier handling and more automation in machining, including the ability to define the gripping position along curved axes interactively. Additionally, ArGo supports machining on both stationary and moving workpieces, held in place by robots, further increasing its versatility.
To simplify use, BLM GROUP has integrated an advanced human-machine interface into ArGo, making it easy to program and manage both the cutting machine and the positioning robot within a single cell. The software also enables the creation of a digital twin of the physical machine configuration in a virtual environment, enhancing precision and workflow management.
Users can also manage maintenance and upgrade contracts via BLMportal, ensuring continuous support and optimization for their systems, enhancing overall productivity and system longevity.
ArGo’s innovative technology is set to revolutionize 5-axis laser cutting and tube processing, offering manufacturers enhanced productivity, flexibility, and precision in their operations.
