Biesse Unveils Global Material Hubs to Advance Multi-Material Manufacturing!

Biesse India, a leader in advanced machinery for processing a diverse range of materials, has unveiled a network of global Material Hubs to revolutionize the future of multi-material manufacturing. These new hubs, located in six key cities—Sydney, Osaka, Lyon, Porto, and Toronto—are poised to reshape how industries approach material processing and machine interaction.

The Material Hubs are designed as immersive, experiential spaces where visitors can explore Biesse’s innovative technologies in action. Each hub offers a dynamic combination of physical demonstrations and digital engagement tools, providing a comprehensive view of Biesse’s expanded machinery lineup. The showcase places a special emphasis on stone and glass processing, catering to industries from furniture to aerospace, with an emphasis on reducing emissions and enhancing sustainability.

The launch event, titled Embrace the Evolution, took place simultaneously across all locations on March 26, 2025, symbolizing Biesse’s commitment to innovation and its global identity. Sayeed Ahmed, CEO of Biesse India, highlighted the strategic importance of the hubs in improving manufacturing capabilities, boosting cross-border collaboration, and fostering innovation across diverse sectors. The new hubs reflect Biesse’s ongoing mission to improve the manufacturing landscape by offering high-performance, user-friendly machines.

The newly designed product portfolio on display at the hubs features a unified Human Machine Interface (HMI) that improves the user experience and streamlines production workflows. The integration of this advanced HMI across Biesse’s machines elevates the interaction between operators and machinery, ensuring smoother operations and greater efficiency across all material categories, including wood, glass, plastics, composites, and metals.

In addition to the global expansion of the hubs, Biesse has set its sights on the Indian market. By mid-2026, a similar hub is expected to open in India, with the company already planning to expand its showroom space from 700 to 2,500 square meters. This facility is expected to be one of the largest of its kind in the country, further cementing Biesse’s role in India’s growing manufacturing sector.

Biesse’s commitment to innovation and education is further highlighted through its collaboration with POLI.design from the Politecnico di Milano. The Biesse International Design Award, launched in partnership with POLI.design, invites students and designers to submit original concepts for multi-material objects to be featured in the hubs, reinforcing the company’s role as a leader in the evolution of design and manufacturing.

Developed in collaboration with Il Prisma, an architecture firm with Italian roots, the hubs are envisioned as open, future-ready spaces that go beyond the conventional showroom or trade fair experience, encouraging a more interactive, collaborative approach to manufacturing innovation.

With these initiatives, Biesse continues to lead the way in shaping the future of multi-material manufacturing, offering cutting-edge technology and solutions that drive efficiency, sustainability, and innovation across global markets.
