AVL Manufacturing Expands to the U.S. with New Facility in North Carolina, Creating 325 Jobs!

AVL Manufacturing, based in Hamilton, Ontario, has announced the opening of its first U.S.-based facility, AVL USA Inc., in Charlotte, North Carolina. The new 232,000-square-foot manufacturing plant is part of a $56 million investment by the company and is expected to create over 325 jobs in the region.

This state-of-the-art facility will focus on producing and assembling generator enclosures, which play a crucial role in ensuring power redundancy, especially in data centers. These large metal enclosures are equipped with essential components such as electric inputs, switchgear, and enclosures for data center servers and equipment. AVL’s products extend beyond data centers, with applications across various industries, including automotive, automation, construction, and emergency management sectors.

The establishment of AVL USA Inc. marks a significant milestone for AVL Manufacturing as it expands its reach to the U.S. market. The new facility will not only help meet the growing demand for power redundancy solutions but also contribute to the local economy through job creation.
