Arrow Machine and Fabrication Group Launches Arrow Precision Machining Division!

In a strategic move to expand its capabilities, Arrow Machine and Fabrication Group (AMFG), based in Guelph, Ontario, has announced the launch of its newest division, Arrow Precision Machining, at the close of 2024. This marks the company’s fourth division since its founding in 2021 and reflects its commitment to diversifying and growing its operations.

Arrow Precision Machining is the result of Arrow’s acquisition of Lumar Machining & Manufacturing Ltd. from St. Thomas, Ontario, bringing over 30 years of metalworking experience to the group. The acquisition strengthens Arrow’s legacy of delivering high-quality products, exceptional service, on-time delivery, and competitive pricing to its diverse clientele.

The new division, housed in a 25,000-square-foot purpose-built production facility, will specialize in high-precision CNC machining, precision grinding, manual turning and milling, and inspection solutions. It will cater to industries such as defence, mining, industrial, and nuclear sectors. Additionally, Arrow Precision Machining will support the continued growth of Arrow’s three other divisions: Arrow Off-Road, Arrow Engineered Products, and Arrow Automotive.

Mike Ritchie, President and CEO of Arrow, expressed enthusiasm about the launch: “We’re very excited to launch Arrow Precision Machining with the full support of the former Lumar team. Our mission is to give our global OEM customers unprecedented access to world-class metalworking capabilities and a resilient supply chain that protects and improves their production scheduling.”

Troy Solinger, who has been appointed to lead the new division, brings significant metalworking expertise and a strong focus on continuous improvement and organic expansion. Solinger emphasized the shared values of integrity, respect, safety, and quality, aligning with Arrow’s commitment to excellence. “We’re excited for the future, and we believe this partnership will benefit our stakeholders and the metalworking industry as a whole.”

With Arrow Precision Machining now part of the group, Arrow Machine and Fabrication Group continues to bolster its position in the manufacturing industry, promoting sustainable organic growth and providing enhanced services to its global partners and customers.
