The Association For Manufacturing Technology (AMT) has elected its 2025-2026 board of directors, with Michael Cicco, president and CEO of FANUC America Corp., stepping into the role of board chairman. Cicco expressed his excitement about leading AMT, emphasizing the organization’s commitment to providing innovative solutions that help manufacturers stay competitive amidst growing industry challenges. “Manufacturers today are facing increasing obstacles that threaten their competitiveness, and AMT is committed to providing innovative solutions that will help our members overcome and find opportunities in those challenges,” Cicco remarked.
AMT President Douglas K. Woods shared his support for Cicco’s appointment, recognizing the pivotal moment for manufacturers and the importance of AMT’s continued work to strengthen both traditional and advanced manufacturing technologies. The association aims to leverage this momentum to support its members and enhance their competitive edge in the global marketplace.
In addition to Cicco’s appointment, Gregory Volovic, president and CEO of Hurco Co. Inc., was elected first vice chairman, and Willie Eichele, president of The HEH Group, will serve as secretary/treasurer. Markus Stolmar, president and CEO of United Grinding North America Inc., has also been newly elected to the AMT board.
AMT honored outgoing board members for their dedication and service. Daniel D. Janka, president of Mazak Corp. and former AMT chairman, was recognized for his contributions and presented with a U.S. flag flown over the U.S. Capitol in his honor. Gregory Buck, president of Productivity Inc., and Chip Storie, retired machine tool executive, were also acknowledged for their outstanding service.
Other members of the 2025-2026 AMT board include Blake Consdorf (Bourn & Koch Inc.), Glynn Fletcher (EOS North America), Jason Jones, Ph.D. (Hybrid Manufacturing Technologies), Melanie Lang (FormAlloy), and Rajas Sukthankar (Siemens Industry Inc.). Together, they will continue to advance AMT’s mission and support the future of manufacturing technology.
