Air Systems International Inc. introduces air quality monitor for Grade-D breathing air safety!
Air Systems International Inc. has launched a new Air Quality Monitor designed to ensure the delivery of Grade-D breathing air across a range of industrial safety equipment. The monitoring system is compatible with Breather Box portable filtration units, filtration panels, breathing air monitoring systems and high-pressure compressors used in industrial environments.
In many industrial settings, workers rely on supplied breathing air systems to perform tasks in hazardous or confined environments. Ensuring that this air meets strict safety standards is essential for protecting worker health. The new Air Quality Monitor has been developed to continuously verify that supplied air meets Grade-D breathing air requirements, a standard commonly applied in occupational safety regulations.
The monitoring system is engineered to provide dependable air quality oversight in demanding work environments. It tracks critical air parameters and alerts operators to any deviations that could compromise breathing air safety. By monitoring key elements such as carbon monoxide concentration, oxygen levels and dew point, the system helps ensure that air supplied to workers remains safe for respiration.
A central feature of the monitor is its user-friendly interface built around a 3-inch color touchscreen display. The interface provides step-by-step guidance to operators, simplifying setup, calibration and routine monitoring tasks. This design helps technicians quickly understand system status and respond effectively to alerts or abnormal readings.
In addition to the touchscreen interface, the system incorporates integrated visual indicators and alarm functions. These features provide real-time alerts when monitored air quality parameters move outside safe limits. The combination of visual signals and audible alarms allows operators to react immediately if carbon monoxide levels rise, oxygen concentrations drop or moisture levels exceed acceptable limits.
The new monitoring unit has been designed for seamless integration with Air Systems International’s range of breathing air equipment. It can be installed on Breather Box filtration systems as well as on other breathing air supply configurations used in industries such as construction, manufacturing, utilities, emergency response and confined-space operations.
By providing continuous air quality monitoring and immediate alert capabilities, the system helps organizations maintain compliance with workplace safety regulations while improving overall worker protection. Reliable monitoring of breathing air quality is particularly important in environments where compressed air systems are used to supply respirators or other protective breathing equipment.
With the introduction of this Air Quality Monitor, Air Systems International aims to provide safety professionals with a practical tool that enhances monitoring reliability while simplifying air quality management in industrial breathing air systems.
