Aerpace Launches Indigenous AI Drone Ecosystem, Positions India as a Drone Powerhouse!

Aerpace Industries Limited, in collaboration with Aerpace Robotics, UAV Tech, and Leospear Defence, has unveiled India’s next-generation smart UAV ecosystem under the aerShield initiative. This pioneering project is poised to transform India’s role in the global drone landscape, positioning the country as a leader in AI-driven, autonomous drone technology for both defence and surveillance applications.

The aerShield initiative focuses on developing an AI-powered, modular drone ecosystem capable of autonomous flight and smart decision-making. At the core of this system is aerOS, an AI-based autonomous drone control platform designed to provide real-time flight navigation, mission execution, obstacle avoidance, and precision targeting. This platform is powering high-performance drones such as the aerRecon ARM-5 and ARM-10, specifically designed for border surveillance, and the aerReaper AMMO-R7, built for tactical strike missions.

The aerShield ecosystem is tailored for both surveillance and tactical strike missions, emphasizing minimal human intervention and dynamic adaptability to battlefield environments. The drones, powered by aerOS, can operate autonomously, ensuring faster decision-making and precision strikes without latency, a crucial advantage in modern warfare.

As part of the next phase of aerShield, Aerpace Industries is preparing to launch live demonstrations of the system for both India’s defence forces and allied forces.
