IMCO carbide is the cutting tool of choice at Dan’s custom machining, great for chip breaking and hard wearing. With a 1/2 tool he can take a 1 inch 3/4 depth of cut and do 30 or 35 thou radial without snapping the tool, feeding at 170 inches per minute.
