Aerospace Startup Drops Hypersonic Vehicle Suggestion Name

Space Engine Systems, a modest Canadian business producing the “lowest cost trucking company to anywhere in space,” is one of a few of companies testing hypersonic vehicles, including Stratolaunch and Lockheed Martin.Hello-1X is a hypersonic demonstrator vehicle that can be piloted or flown autonomously by the firm. It is intended to take off from a runway, climb to a height of 17 to 20 miles, reach Mach 5, and then glide back down to Earth. It’s a 70-foot-long prototype that will aid the SES in the construction of its Hello-1 and Hello-2 vehicles. And it wasn’t always known by its current moniker.
