A startup has created an electric RV with a range of 250 miles

Grounded, an electric RV startup, has announced the release of the G2, a 250-mile range all-electric solar-equipped RV. While the Grounded G1 had a restricted amount of use cases because of its 100-mile range, the G2’s 250-mile range makes it the first feasible electric motorhome. The G2, which is based on the BrightDrop Zevo 600 platform, has 615 square feet of living area and promises haptic comfort, quick acceleration, and easy control. This all-wheel drive (AWD) vehicle has a fully charged range of over 250 kilometres.

In addition to the 165kWh car battery, Grounded has a 10kWh house battery that can be charged from the vehicle battery as well as the 640-Watt rooftop solar capacity. The G2 also has Starlink for high-speed internet access wherever you travel, as well as back heating and cooling, plenty of storage, indoor shower and wet bath options, hot water, and induction stovetops. Every G2 also comes with a BrightDrop vehicle platform guarantee for 8 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first, and a Grounded interior warranty that covers the replacement of any component that breaks within one year due to a product fault.
