The automated cell, engineered by FPT Robotics, integrates state-of-the-art KUKA robotics alongside 3D scanning and vision systems. This combination ensures that crates are depalletized in pairs, transferred seamlessly to a tipping station, and securely rotated. The process allows products to slide gently into shipping cartons. The integration of the FPT LabelBOT further enhances the system by applying shipping labels, while a final barcode check ensures complete traceability.
This solution can process up to 200 crates and 11 pallets per hour, maintaining stable handling of delicate items and ensuring reliable logistics processes. The achievement demonstrates a remarkable intersection of innovation and precision, addressing the complexities of pharmaceutical logistics.
