
WorldSkills International is ramping up preparations for its upcoming competition set to take place in Shanghai in 2026. The 48th WorldSkills Competition is scheduled for 22 to 27 September and will feature 64 skill categories, hosting over 1,400 young competitors from more than 60 countries.
Representatives have recently convened with WorldSkills partners in Shanghai to advance the Robot Systems Integration skill, ensuring a fair and consistent competitive environment for all participants. Discussions focused on optimising infrastructure and workflow standardisation, along with developing detailed logistics and communication plans.
These efforts aim to inspire schools, industry, and the next generation of automation talent, demonstrating a commitment to shaping the future of skills. The upcoming event promises to be a pivotal platform for showcasing the talents and innovations in the field of automation and robotics.
