John Fossey from Micron Workholding talks to Lyndsey about the new Vulcan machine that has recently been installed at his company. Replacing an older machine the Vulcan will be expected to cut all kinds of materials. A really interesting point made by John is the control. Previously the company standardised on FANUC controls however this machine is Siemens and using the same programs has proved easy thanks to the new software features.
