DTS Continues Rapid Growth Strategy

Friday 24 August 2018, 12:00:00 AM

2018 has been a stellar year for DTS (UK) Ltd. The Chorley machine tool company has witnessed significant growth with strong machine tool sales in the nuclear, aerospace, offshore and power generation sectors. This unprecedented growth has seen the Lancashire business add two new sales engineers to its rapidly growing team.

The appointment of Andy Guy as a new Area Sales Manager will bolster sales performance in the North East and Scotland whilst the addition of Richard Gould as the new Area Sales Manager for the Midlands and South will certainly underpin the continued growth in that region. As well as bolstering the sales team, DTS Ltd has also expanded its service and application engineering team with an additional three engineers joining in 2018….so far.

The growth ambitions of DTS do not end there. The rapidly expanding business is also looking to add additional sales support staff in the final quarter of 2018. Commenting upon the on-going growth at DTS, Gary Sanderson says: “Our improved performance can be attributed to the quality of our product lines and the support network. The Correa bridge-type 5-axis machine, travelling column machines and the large bed-type machines have proven very popular. In addition to this, the Honor Seiki large vertical turning centres have made a huge impact. This is credit to the patented clamping system that delivers 10 tonnes of clamping force for heavy-duty machining and large depths of cut on challenging materials.”
