DMG MORI recently welcomed a group of students and faculty from the Rock Valley College Engineering Technology programme to its headquarters in Chicago. The visit offered an in-depth look at the cutting-edge technology shaping the manufacturing industry.

The tour was led by John Roufis, General Manager of the DMG MORI Academy, accompanied by John Aussem, Applications Programme Manager, and Eric Wilhelm, Regional HR Manager. The group engaged with the students, answering their questions and providing insights into the world of CNC technology.

Highlighting the visit was the story of Jaylyn Danner, a current DMG MORI employee who graduated from the same programme at Rock Valley College. Danner’s journey from student to a professional within the company exemplifies the career pathways available at DMG MORI.

The event was organised by the HR, Applications, and Engineering teams, along with the DMG MORI Academy. The collaboration demonstrated the company’s commitment to educating the next generation of manufacturing professionals.

Gratitude was expressed towards the educators at Rock Valley College for their role in inspiring future innovators. This partnership underscores DMG MORI’s dedication to workforce development and apprenticeship success.

DMG MORI remains committed to fostering relationships with educational institutions to shape future leaders in manufacturing.
