Vbites announces purchasing 385,000 Sq Foot factory and will be creating a Plant-Based Valley in Newcastle

As the plant-based economy booms, VBites have announced the purchase of a 385,000 sq ft factory to create a “Plant-Based Valley” in the North-East of England.

VBites Founder Heather Mills said: “Now the cat is out of the bag, we are pleased to announce that, yes, we have purchased the 385,000 ft.² ex Coty/Procter & Gamble factory in Seaton Delavel, Newcastle.”

Heather Mills expressed this is her third factory purchase in the north-east she is looking to help bring more employment and expand the plant-based meat, fish and allergen-free dairy alternative industry, as well as micro algae and vegan makeup. The dairy and meat alternative industry has seen an incredible increase in the past 12 months and Vbites wants to lead the market to support sustainable alternative living and to promote and support British manufacturing.

The objective around this is to incubate their venture investments to help scale up, manufacture, distribute and sell in 24 countries around the world. Not only will this look to provide employment within the area but it will also support the British economy in what some may predict to be uncertain times.

It is understood that that Ms Mills has been selected as the preferred bidder for the manufacturing facility, paving the way for further expansion of her growing vegan food firm VBites.
