Leeds based, global soap base and speciality ingredients manufacturer Stephenson is continuing to expand by investing in production technology at its UK headquarters. The latest investment of £750,000 takes the companies recent investment over £1m.
Based in Horsforth, this family-owned business has used the investment to upgrade its Durosoft production facilities, with the objective of producing more technically-lead natural products.
Like other businesses around the UK, automation is a huge part of the recent investment enabling manufacturing around the clock to aid in the companies sales, which approximately 85% is exported.
