SDE Logistics was founded in 1979 to serve the transport and delivery needs of the growing manufacturing business. It is based on the same industrial site as SDC Technology, behind the main plant. The delivery fleet comprises 22 HGVs ranging from 3 tonne vehicles up to44 tonne vehicles. All are curtain siders with the ridged vehicles fitted with tail-lifts. Flatbed trailers and low loaders are also available. SDE Logistics can offer:
- Batch Schedule, JIT or KANBAN Delivery Systems
- EDI capabilities in place, with the option of Bar Coding
- Scheduling via e-mail, ISDN modem is also available
