MTDCNC Explores Four SMW AUTOBLOK Manufacturing Facilities During Italian Visit

Novaretto, Italy – Day four of MTDCNC’s European road trip with the SMW Autoblok Group saw Tom Skubala and Chris Thomas arrive in Novaretto, Italy, for an in-depth look at the company’s manufacturing operations and the technology that supports its global success.
Joined by Larry Robbins and Marco Bronzino, the team spent the day touring four of SMW AUTOBLOK’s six manufacturing facilities, gaining a unique insight into the scale, expertise, and engineering excellence that have made the company one of the world’s leading workholding solution providers.
The visit highlighted the specialist role of each facility within the wider manufacturing network. From large-scale chuck production and precision machining to assembly, testing, and advanced manufacturing processes, each plant demonstrated a dedicated focus on quality, efficiency, and innovation.
Throughout the tour, the MTDCNC team witnessed significant investment in technology, automation, and manufacturing capability, reinforcing SMW AUTOBLOK’s commitment to remaining at the forefront of the global workholding industry.
