The future of precision machining took center stage this week as REGO-FIX USA hosted its highly anticipated IndyDays 2025 event in Indianapolis. Held May 14–15, the two-day experience brought together engineers, machinists, and manufacturing leaders to explore the latest innovations in tool-holding, automation, and smart machining.
IndyDays served as a hands-on showcase of the technologies driving North American manufacturing forward. From precision tool-holding systems to real-world automation solutions, attendees saw firsthand how today’s innovations are solving tomorrow’s shop-floor challenges.
“This event is about more than just new products,” said Andreas Weber, General Manager of REGO-FIX USA. “It’s a space for collaboration—where challenges are met with solutions, and where the future of machining is shaped by those working on the front lines of the industry.”
Throughout the event, participants engaged in interactive demonstrations, technical presentations, and collaborative discussions. The focus remained on practical advancements that improve efficiency, enhance precision, and support manufacturers in staying globally competitive.
REGO-FIX also welcomed well-known industry voices Tony Gunn and Cesar Serrato Deras to capture the stories, insights, and innovations that defined the event. From expert interviews to behind-the-scenes moments, their coverage offered a vivid look at the conversations and breakthroughs happening on the ground.
Events like IndyDays play a critical role in the evolution of manufacturing by fostering community and sparking innovation. Attendees left with new tools, new connections, and new perspectives on where machining is headed.
Whether you’re in a high-tech shop or a traditional machine tool environment, the message was clear: the future of manufacturing is here—and it’s collaborative, connected, and constantly evolving.
