GrindingHub 2026: The Premier Destination for Global Grinding Technology

From May 5–8, 2026, Stuttgart will once again become the epicenter of grinding technology as it hosts the third edition of GrindingHub, the internationally acclaimed trade fair organized by the VDW (German Machine Tool Builders’ Association). In collaboration with Messe Stuttgart and the Grinding Conference—and supported by Swissmem (the Association of the Swiss Mechanical, Electrical, and Metal Industries)—the event promises to build on its previous success and further cement its reputation as the industry’s key meeting point.

GrindingHub is now firmly established as the central hub for the grinding technology sector,” said Dr. Markus Heering, Managing Director of VDW. “The energy, innovation, and collaboration seen at previous editions were nothing short of inspiring. We are eager to continue this momentum and provide a global stage for new technologies and ideas in 2026.”

Exhibitors and visitors alike are enthusiastic about the upcoming edition. Marie-Sophie Maier, Managing Director of Adelbert Haas GmbH, who has participated since the inaugural event, highlighted its strategic importance: “This trade fair is an ideal fit for us — international, innovative, and specifically focused on our field. At GrindingHub, we engage with the right trendsetters and decision-makers to help shape the future of grinding technology.”

Visitor feedback has been equally positive. Markus Kiffe, Managing Director of Kiffe Engineering GmbH and an attendee of the 2024 show, shared his experience: “We’ll definitely return. It’s a place where you always discover something new, gather innovative ideas, forge valuable connections, and engage in meaningful discussions.”

GrindingHub 2026 will showcase a comprehensive spectrum of technologies including grinding machines, abrasives, software solutions, peripheral systems, and precision measurement tools. The trade fair is open for exhibitor registrations, offering a prime opportunity for companies to present their latest innovations to a global audience.

Dr. Heering emphasized the significance of community and resilience in the industry: “It’s remarkable how our sector continues to unite and support each other, especially during challenging economic times. We are confident that GrindingHub 2026 will once again deliver outstanding value and success for all involved.”
